We do! We did our date last night in Boyne City, MI and it went really well. We were delighted to be on this venue. We sang with The Thurston family...' Love'em'! Gloria Lynne, The Walkers, Southern Praise and some others. We all had a really good time singing our Lord's praises and catching up on each others lives!!
However, we are feeling the results today. We did not think about trying to get a motel until yesterday morning. So got up and instantly started calling motels. The only result that I was getting was" NO VACANCY!!"! Not what I wanted to hear when we were a GOOD 3 hour drive from home and the concert not ending until 11:00 p.m.!!!! YES!!! You read that right. 11:00 p.m., 3 hours home!! So once we were packed up and down the road we finally arrived home, crawled into bed( literally) and looked at the clock. It was then........4:07 A.M.!!! So since Tyler got a three hour nap on the way home guess who was up at 9:20...........TYLER!!! Guess who got to get up with him and turn on cartoons..................ME!!! So I am really dragging right now right along with Mark!!
I got all of our clothes ready for church tomorrow and our date tomorrow night. 5 loads of laundry done and the car wiped down and cleaned out and ready to take another trip tomorrow!!
I am done for now with the house work, clothes etc. However, Mark is now gone to watch his brothers do a singing date. He had promised them he would go sometime last week ,so he needed to go. He is riding with them and his dad, so I am glad that he is not having to drive, he is VERY tired today. Tyler and I decided to stay home and enjoy being home for today.
Pray for us this weekend. We will actually be at our home church in the morning and then we will head to Muskegon, MI. for tomorrow night. Thank you for all your interest in our ministry. May God bless you all as you too strive to serve our Lord!! Talk to you soon!
