We are now home from Ky. and back to work. We had rain all the way until we crossed the Michigan weather and guess what greeted us? YES!!! Snow!! YEA! So Thanksgiving is over and the tree is going up this week. I LOVE this time of year. I have three more gifts to buy and then we are done!
I am decorating the outside of the porch tomorrow and doing Cd's. Then I am going to do the rest of the house this Thursday and Friday while Mark goes hunting during the day.
Speaking of the Christmas tree. What a blessing that we had this week. I have had to prop up our tree with books for the last 2 years. I had a couple from our church offer Mark and our one of their old ones that they said was in great shape and we were welcome to have it if we wanted it!! So PTL!! we have a tree that will hopefully stay up on its own for us this year. Plus it is taller. frankly, in our new house our ceilings are so tall that our old one would look like a charlie brown tree this year. HE always looks out for us doesn't HE!!!
Hope that all of you had a great Thanksgiving. We sure did. And enjoyed being with all of our family.
