We often sing the song and sing the words " We'll work til' Jesus comes" well I have been doing so many odd things and working until late that I have been saying...........Come Lord......QUICK!!! Haha!!
Mark's mom stopped by the other day with a little tike's picnic table for Tyler. She got it for a DOLLAR!!! What a deal. All that it needed was a good coat of paint. So off to the hardware store I went and got me some of the new plastic paint that Krylon makes. I LOVE this stuff. I have fixed several things now for Tyler and it makes them look like new!! So for just a few bucks he has a little table all for himself!!(thank you grandma!!) We had a picnic together today on it and he thought he was so big. I told him that when I got done mowing the yard that I would play with him and we would eat lunch together. So we did. He made sure that I stayed seated too. I got up a couple of times and he would say. DOWN!!!!DOWN!!!! He did not want me leaving. He is such a ham.
The Lord gave us such a beautiful day that we decided to grill tonight. So Mark grilled him a steak and he grilled Tyler and I chicken!! MMMM!!! It was so good. We had some corn on the cob, garlic bread and cheesy potatoes!! YES!!! I it was as good as it sounds even if we did make it! We ate on our patio and enjoyed dinner together outside while we also were entertained by Tyler. As you can imagine.
Oh, one more blessing I almost forgot to share. We were in the process of looking for Tyler a toddler bad and guess where I found one...........RIGHT! Walmart!! However they run around $40.00 so we thought that we would hold off for a little bit longer. Until Mark's mom called today and said that she had been out at some yard sales and saw some beds. But she did not think that it was what I wanted. She described it and it was EXACTLY what I wanted. She said I think that they had $10.00 on it. YEAH!!! We were headed to get Tyler a bed. Only to find that when we arrived it was still there but it was NOT 10.00 it was...............$3.00!!!!!!!!Yeah Thank you Lord. HE IS SO GOOD!!! Plus it already had the protection rail on it too!!! It needed a little touch up paint so back to the hardware store I went! Bought it, painted it and it looks like new. It is a white metal bed. This will go great for his new room. It is a sports theme.
Well, I am going to go for now. It is Tyler's bath time and he REALLY needs one. He has been playing outside with me today while I was painting everything.
