MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Hustling around, gift buying and the smell of a cup of hot chocolate!! I love it all. I guess that it was a little passed due that I say howdy to you all. I have been down south this week visiting with my folks for Christmas! We had so much fun.

We had made a threat to my parents, that we did not want them buying any gifts for us this year. We are all in the ministry and in December the pocket book gets tight at times. Plus the real reason to celebrate is our savior and getting together with Family and friends that we all love so much. Drinking as much hot Chocolate that we can take. We were sort of proud of them. They still die stockings. Which is HUGE in our family. I can't say that I was not glad that they did not do this. I am still a kid at heart! HA! Plus they gave us all some money. Mind you that they do this and gifts every year! So we got them to hold off a little I guess. We will still be working on this.

The funny part was how creative that they got. They wrapped up things that we had when we were at home that we had failed, meant to, not take with us when we left. HA! I unwrapped and had to bring home all of my medals that I had won in all kinds of competions. A volleyball that was in a glass case from my senior year signed by all of my team mates, and a box of dolls. YEE HAW!! I will try and not let Tyler play with the dolls. This made us laugh and have a good ole' time!! We all were upset at first when they were handing us gifts because they were not to buy us anything. Then we really were upset when we saw what was in there and knew that we had to take all this home!! What a good time. Thank you mom and dad!! Merry Christmas! We love you!

This time of year is so wonderful. Remembering what happen on that Silent Holy Night of nights! He came to be born so that He would one day die to give us life! WOW! What a Savior that we serve! We loving doing this as I share with you all the time. What an honor that the Lord would choose us to do service for Him!! We have an awesome responsibility to fulfill. I pray that we do so much more abundantly in the new year to come.

Thank you for your prayers and support to us. We hope and pray that you all have a great Christmas and a very blessed New Year!!

What a weekend and Week to come!!

Hello everyone!!

We are pretty tired today with a lot still to do. We sang 3 times yesterday and did not get to bed until 12:30 a.m. We were home at a reasonable time we both just have to do our wind down thing!! If you do not travel you probably have NO idea what I mean. Well, this just means that you sit around for about 2 hours to let your body relax from the whole day!! YEAH!!

So today Mark is at the dentist, I am at home keeping the fire going! Then we are headed out to our Church staff Christmas dinner. We sing tomorrow night and Wednesday afternoon as well! Then we have people in the studio this week. CD orders to fill. Saturday is our Radio sponsors Christmas party and our Churches Christmas practice that I have been to once and the program is Sunday!!! Then we sing Sunday morning and the perform in our Church program Sunday night!! YEE HAW!!! WHEW!! I am SO tired already!!

We cannot wait until the week of Christmas. We plan to not even get out of our PJ'S for atleast one whole day!! So please do not come and see us on this day. It would NOT be pretty!!

Thank you for your prayers we know that all of you have great scheduals going on as well. We will just keep each other in our prayers!! That's how it should be anyway!!

Thanks for your prayers until then have a GREAT day!!

Sleep, what SLEEP????

So guess who's ready to go back to Florida.....ME!!! Not that we would not miss our family here, church and members, but the snow has got to go! We are becoming Floridians more everyday. I am glad that this 20 degree stuff is leaving us this weekend. Well, I guess that is enough said about that. I will live I am sure, I just will be cold doing so!! HEE HEE HA!HA!!

I guess that I should explain that the rash that we were not sure that Tyler had, was just that. He was on an antibiotic and he had a reaction to it! Praise the Lord this is all that it was. We did think at one point that he might have the measles!

Today was picture day for Tyler and last minute Christmas shopping. I have 2 1/2 people left to buy for. That poor 1/2 person!! HA! I usually am done by about October. However I have a little guy that seems to take a little bit more of my time and makes it a little harder to just pick up and go when I have thought of something or was out a little more. I guess that he is worth it though. O.K. HE IS!!!

So last night was VERY interesting. Tyler had been awake all day and then decided that he wanted a nap at 8:30 p.m. CHA-CHING! First mistake. So I thought I will let him sleep and then I will wake him up at around 10:00 p.m. Then I will play with him and we will go to bed around midnight ( not uncommon for the Foresters.) Well, I could not wake him up so. I thought he is so tired that he will probably sleep until morning! CHA-CHIN!!! NOT!!! Second mistake! Mark went to bed at ten when Tyler did but I was not sleepy. So I stayed up until midnight by myself. I have not done that in a while. So I get to bed at midnight Tyler wakes up at 1:20 a.m. eats a little bit of a bottle and goes back to sleep. AAHH! Just what I thought would happen. So I get all nestled in sound asleep. To be a wakened by a scream at 2a.m. guess who has slept 5 hours and thinks that it is time to play? So now I have slept a total of 1 hour and 20 min. And I am up!! We played, I fed him a jar of food and crackers and watched videos from 2 a.m. until 4:30 this morning. YEAH!! He went to sleep and all was about to be well, so I thought!

Mark had to get up at 4:45 a.m.because he was going hunting. And he needed me to help him put on his boots. So I have now had 1 hours and 20 min. Sleep and have been up since 2a.m. it is now 5a.m.

I help him put on his boots, he leaves and now I am up because I have kissed goodbye and I am worried about the roads for Mark. He called me back about 10 minutes after leaving and says he is o.k. At this point I am thinking. Why not just stay up now. But, that thought quickly passed my mind and I opted to try and sleep. Well, I did go to bed to only be asleep for 45 min. And Tyler awoke once more!!! You gotta love him!! I do but I was NOT thinking kind things at the point!! So I made a bottle and I put him in bed with me.

Oh, there is another catch. I had to set the alarm for 8:45 a.m. because a gentleman was bringing us something by the house at 9:a.m. and I had to do something with myself. Not a pretty sight, without a little assistance!! At this point it is 6:20 a.m. and I have had a whole 3 hours sleep and I am only getting at the most a little more than 2 hours!!! So needless to I hope that I have a great night sleep tonight. I do have to say it is not Tylers fault I let him sleep and he does not know any different. So I guess that I have learned my lesson. As a matter of fact he is napping right now as he should be and I will awake him soon. So that he will go down tonight like he should as well. LIVE AND LEARN!!!

I hope that all of you had a great night sleep last night. Thank you for your prayers I know that this has kept me going today......THANK YOU!!! We hope that all of you are doing well. We love seeing all you at concerts and sharing a part of your lives with us. Keep us in your thoughts and prayers. May the Lord richly bless you this season and may we NEVER forget what this season is ALL about!! God Bless!

Just when I think........

That everything is going to be normal today something else not so normal happens. Today we had gotten canceled from singing up north because of the snow. I had ironed our clothes had everything all laid out for each of us to go to our OWN church. To then discover at 2a.m. this morning Tyler had a horrible rash start on his belly and face. So guess who is not at her OWN church this morning? Yep!! Tyler and I . So I opted for a cup of coffee and A Pastor named Ed Young on TV! It was quit good and I enjoyed it. However it is not the same being in your Sunday best and singing the good old Hymns with the people of the Lord. When I got up to do find something to watch I thought this won't be to bad. Quickly to discover that I was not completely satisfied with my cup of coffee and TV. This mad me happy!!! Because that meant that I was missing church. This is a VERY good thing. So, if you are able to go to church, go!!! Don't get me wrong TV programs are great especially in times like these. But, how grateful I am do be able to walk and have a way to even go to church. God is SO good!!! Praise the Lord for our Freedom!!

So please pray for Tyler and the family as we try and figure this rash out and that we won't catch it...EEWWW!!! Thank you for your prayers and may you have a very blessed day!!

In Christ,
Andrea

A Multi-task Day!!!

HOWDY!! Well I am home. You know how I know? I am in the basement, doing laundry, Cd's and letters!!! Guess what?? I don't mind! I am in my home that the Lord has given me, warm and with the people that I love!!! Can't get much better than that !!

I am so thankful to be back to my washer and dryer!!! One of the most annoying things about traveling that I could say that I do not care for would be to do laundry on the road. When you do it on the road for 6 weeks it sure makes you appreciate doing it in the comfort of your own home, when you get home!! PTL!!!

Well, I needed to take a break for a second. So I guess I better get back to work. Oh, yeah I am also listening to our Christmas program that we are helping in at our church while I am working too!!! It would be good to know the songs that I am singing in the choir!! I am sure that those around me would like me to know them atleast a little!!! HAHA!!!

Thank you for your prayers for us this weekend. We appreciate you all! Happy Holidays, Only 24 more days until Christmas!!! YEAH!!! I Can't wait!!
