WE DID IT!!!!!

Yesterday was the day that Tyler and I did the train ride. What a day that it was for us to do this to. It was raining, cold ( 36 degrees to be exact) and over cast. Makes for a cheery day to have an outing together.

We boarded the train 30 minutes before they took off, because this is what they had us do and Tyler thought since we had sat on there so long that this is what we were there to do. After a while he said, " O.K. is it time to go?" I then explained to him that no, we are actually going to move............sometime.

We eventually took off and it was mind blowing for him. I had a moment with him that I will never forget and wish that I could have captured FOREVER. He was looking out the window after we were on the go. Put his arm around me, smiled, grabbed my face with both of his hands and said, " I love you mommy, thank you!!" He then put his arm around my neck and said, " stay close to me mommy, I love you." O.k. so at this moment that you can imagine he could have gotten anything he wanted!!! Except that when he disobeyed me like, 10 minutes later then I quickly changed my mind. Still love the little booger though. LOTS!!!!

So Mark was gone so I tackled the POTTY training thing. While I had an actual week at home I took advantage to try and teach him. It was a tiring week for me but needed to be done. He has had his share of accidents and we have a ways to go, but we are closer than we have been. Praise the Lord!!!

So we had good meetings this morning at our churches in Mulliken, MI. We did 2 different churches and was still done and on the road by 1:00 p.m.

Mark will be hard at work in the studio in Lansing tomorrow, then he has people here at our studio Wednesday and Thursday. We leave Saturday for Indiana and then we head to Kentucky Monday. We will be there all week and will be with my folks for Thanksgiving. Then we have 2 different meetings in Kentucky the following Sunday.

I will be hard at work in the CD room as well. I have about 300 Cd's to do so far and one job pending that could mean 200 more. So we are both back to work after our break from last week.

DEER Widow!!!!

From the front page of the website I guess that you saw that Mark will gone all week, trying to get a deer. Tyler and I have some adventures planned while he is gone. I am shutting down the CD duplication business for the week so that I can have some time off as well.

I have been hard at work doing Cd's this week and quite frankly burned out for a while. As you read as well Mark has been VERY busy in the studio too. The rest will be good for us both. I always look forward to slow mornings and coffee when we have our time off.

We had a good weekend of meetings. Although we were very close to home with all of meetings we are still very tired. It was nice to be home tonight ( Sunday) by 8:15. I have gotten 2 loads of clothes done, all of our clothes from the weekend put away and the bills written out and ready to mail tomorrow. Plus we were able to relax and watch one of our shows that we like together too. Rare for a Sunday night for us............Yee haw!!!

Keep us in your prayers this week. Pray that Mark and his brother will stay safe in the woods and safety for Tyler and I here at home.

Tomorrow is Monday and many things to do on the list. Mark will be in the studio for a while and Tyler and I will go and do our " Monday" thing.

CHOO CHOO!!!

So today was the day to get the FREE tickets to ride the train and the FREE lunch to take Tyler to on the 15Th when Mark is hunting. Because of our meeting last night and the travel time home we did not get to bed until around 2 a.m. this morning. The library opened up at 9 a.m. but Mark kept telling me, " honey there will be lots of tickets left, you need the sleep." So I thought well he's probable right. So I woke up at 8:30 and thought should I go or sleep for a few more minutes. I went for the later. So when I awoke the next time it was 9:20 and I jumped up. I told Mark I said I think that I should go now or they are going to all be gone.

So away I drove in a BIG hurry. I got there and they were all gone!! Plus the librarian said the the other one that he knew of were all gone as well. So I hurried home called the one in the town where we used to live and ( just 15minutes away) and that branch said that they had some left. I said, great!! I will be there in 10 minutes. When I arrived there were 3 people in line and then me. When I got mine the lady thought that she only had enough for about 8 more people!! WHHEWW!! I DID IT!!!

So now Tyler and I can have a fun day together for very little money! That's my kind of fun. We will ride the train at 11:00 a.m. then have lunch at 12:00. Plus the same day is a craft show at a local Christian school for an admission price for $2.00
so that will be my treat.
