Getting Started

I have never started Monday like I did today. Usually, I get up get dressed, get Tyler dressed and head out to do the shopping and the errands. Not today! I did all kinds of odd jobs first and then did the shopping.

I got all the " Thank you" notes caught up today from our meetings, printed some cd's for us ahead for this week so that when Mark leaves for his hunting trip I too can rest. I then got Mark's clothes together for his trip, got some of his food together and pre-made some things. Did some laundry and a few other things. By this point in the day it was 5:30 p.m. Tyler had fallen asleep on the couch watching a Goofy movie that I had taped. So Mark was kind enough to stay with Tyler while I ran out to do the grocery shopping.

I have to say it felt a little weird doing this without Tyler( although it went faster) and by the time that I was finished it was dark outside!!! I cannot believe that it is this time of the year already.

Getting dark so early, and starting to get a little chilly makes me want to curl up on the couch and have hot cocoa!! Speaking of which I got me some tonight at the grocery!!!! YEA!!

We had a great weekend at the church in Muskegon MI. We sang and Mark preached in the morning service at Dalton Baptist Church. We were back there last night just doing a concert for them. We had great services and a good spirit. God blessed us greatly. And as we always want we pray that we are a blessing to those who attend our meetings in return.

Thank you for your prayers for us and the ministry. Pray for little Tyler as he travels with us too. He is such a good little guy and hangs right in there with us. By the time we got home and got settled and he calmed down it was 1:00 a.m. this morning. This is why Mondays are s-l-o-w for us.

Thanks again and God bless you all this week. Now let's go serve HIM as best as we can this week!!!

Running Around

So as most of you know from ALL of my previous blogs Mondays are running around day. Tyler and I headed out earlier today to do our errands. First the post office to mail some things off, Kroger, Took Marks suits to the cleaners, Aldi grocery store, and the gas station. After all of this we were BOTH ready to get home.

Then I got it all put away and Tyler began watching his favorite cartoon, " Spider-man and his amazing friends!" Then there was a miracle in the Forester home today. I put Tyler down for a nap, Mark was taking a break so we thought to ourselves it would be great to take a nap too!! So the miracle was................WE DID!!!! It was a great need for Mark and I. We have had some really crazy hours for a few weeks, months, o.k. YEARS!! So this nap was GREAT for us both.

Tyler is now playing at the neighbors house. They have a 6 year boy named Matthew. they came over to our yard sale a few weeks back. They have a playhouse out back with a big slide and have invited him over before but we did not want to intrude. Today Tyler was riding his electric motorcycle and this drew Matthew to his attention. So from there the last hour has been history. They have ridden their bikes in our drive, played on the playhouse and Tyler gave him some rides on his motorcycle!! I have all the windows up so I can hear where they are and how they are playing together. So far so good!!!

Thank you for your prayers this weekend. We had GREAT services and the Lord met many of our needs!! PTL!!! Pray for us this upcoming weekend and week. I have about 400 Cd's to do Amoung other house chores. Thank you for your prayers. Have a blessed week and keep serving HIM faithfully!!

God Bless,
Andrea

Lazy Day?????? Yeah, RIGHT!!!!

So I though that I was going to stay on the couch the rest of the evening when I wrote my last blog. Well, I should have known better than that. I cannot stay down for long. I went downstairs and started working on Cd's at 10:00 p.m. then by 12:00 a.m. Tyler was still up because of his late nap, ( this works well with our schedule) and I was cleaning our his closet. I weeded through his things and got all the clothes out that he could not wear. Categorized his clothes according to what he can wear now, what he will be wearing soon, and what he can wear and will wear by our Florida, in February. I have a few more things to go through in his closet to get organized. I got his things marked for a yard sale that Mark's mom is having too.

So the lazy day did not happen and I have not tried, nor had the time to try and go for another lazy day. However, Mark leaves to go hunting 2 weeks from this coming Wednesday and this is when we try and schedule NO CD orders and this is when I try and rest too. And do anything or nothing!!!! We are both looking forward to our time off.

I have a few things that I have planned to do with Tyler. I am going to take him back to Chuck E' Cheese. And I have a free meal coupon from his birthday for Bob Evans and I thought that I could take him to ride go-karts too!!I figured we could do both for under $40.00 and this will be 2 small adventures for him. He loves those kind of days!! And I will enjoy the time with him. He is mommies buddy. And he will tell you too!! Love that little booger!!!

We sang in Otisville Michigan tonight with Mark's younger brothers. They did a great job as always. We had one BIG problem happen to us. We were minutes away from the concert starting and our computer CRASHED!!!! This is what we have all of our songs on and NO back up. Thankfully Stephen was there and had his computer and the same program as we HAD. We always have our CD bag back up with all of our song from the past. So we quickly loaded some songs on their computer and sang away!!

The prayer that i request from you in that we find a REALLY GOOD deal on a computer. This is something that you are NEVER prepared for financially, but especially this week or this month!!! So PRAY PRAY PRAY!!!!

Thank you for your interest in our ministry and your prayers that you say for us. God hears them and we feel them!! Thank you!! Until next time serve our Saviour faithfully.\

God Bless,
Andrea

Lazy Day.............somewhat!!!

So because of our insane weekend I have not felt like moving today. However, I have still managed to get the house straightened up,go to the grocery store, actually 3 different stores, a little Christmas shopping and do 100 Cd's!!

Yes, I did say Christmas shopping. I have everyone in our family bought for except 4 people!!! I have 16 presents already wrapped and ready to go. When you have the schedule that we have and the need to budget like we do. I cannot wait until the day before Christmas. I think that this year will be a record for me if I can finish up with these last four people real soon. This is a HUGE relief to me. I like being able to TOTALLY enjoy the holidays without the stress. I like going to the mall in December watching everyone else going crazy shopping at a 150 mile an hour speed knowing I am done, and my gifts are at home wrapped under my tree. Then I can look with ease!!!

I am now declaring it a lazy day for the rest of the day. I have about 250 CD'S left to do before Thursday, but I know my limits so I know that I can get them done. I cannot even move right now. I am curled up on my couch writing to you getting ready to enjoy a cup of coffee and that is what the rest of my night will consist of!!! Pray for Mark, he is working in the studio in Lansing again and will have to tomorrow too. He too did not feel like moving when he left today. I felt sorry for him, but bless his heart he knew that every little bit helps us out financially. Say a prayer for him ( THANKS)!!!

Thank you for your prayers and support to our ministry. We had a great weekend of meetings, good spirits and lots of fun with all the people the we were with. Pray for us this week. We sing Thursday, Saturday and 2 on Sunday. We are expecting for God to do GREAT things.PTL!!! Thanks again and may the Lord bless you all in what you do for HIM!!!

Come and Gone!!!!

I cannot believe that another Homecoming has come and gone on us already. We had a GREAT turn out. The spirit of the whole concert was so good. Many people told us that they thought that it was the best year yet that we have had!!! Wish you all could have come!!!

I had a great time with my mom and dad while they were here. I managed to have them only take us out to eat 2 times!!!! They always want to take us out almost every meal while they are here. They do not need to spend the money, so I managed to tame it down to twice. On Friday my mom and I went to a Ladies expo event here in Flint and Mark and my dad went to a hunting show in Imaly City, MI.

I have been hard at work in the CD room. I have done about 900 Cd's in the past week. Including working while my parents were here to get it all done. Praise the Lord for the work. However, juggling that work along with the normal house work, Tyler, and running errands. I could use your prayers to keep my sanity!!!!AAAHHH!! God is good and He gives me all the strength that I need to get it all done......................somehow!!!

Have a great week and weekend. We have a lot going for the rest of this week and a long weekend of meetings. Pray that we will be a blessing and someone will come to know the Lord or receive encouragement from the ministry that the Lord has given to us!!!

God bless and have a great week!!

Labor Day..............NOT!!!

We are SO tired from the weekend. We were supposed to get up at 5 a.m. on Sunday and leave by 6 a.m. to get to our destination yesterday morning. My alarm did NOT go off and thank the Lord Mark woke up.............................at 5: 25!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I jumped up got ready, Mark got ready I made us a little breakfast to go, got Tyler dressed and the car packed with all of our clothes for the day in a record time of ............................20 minutes!! So we were only 5 minutes behind at this point. We got there 50 minutes before we were to start. We set up and were all changed by 7 minutes til 10:00!!! Thank you Lord!!

We had time to grab a bite to eat in the afternoon and then we had a 2 and half hour drive to the place that we sang last night. We had a great time at both places with all who attended.

We arrived home at about 10:45 and I managed to fix Mark some supper, do 3 loads of laundry and still managed to get Tyler and I in bed by 12:50 a.m.!! Not to bad with our crazy schedule. He got up at 9:15 this morning but he is watching cartoons and I am running slower than molasses! That is a southern phrase for you northerners!

We have NO plans other than the absolute HAVE TO'S!!! We are basically taking this day off from any outside the normal work/chores!!! YEAH!!! Trying to get the album finished, doing TONS of Cd's ahead and planning for homecoming. The schedule has caught up to us both.

My parents are to arrive Wednesday to be a part of our homecoming with us. This is a true joy fr me to have them with me and their support. They LOVE what we do!! That means SO much to us both.

Tyler is already pumped that Meme and Paw Paw are coming. We told him yesterday and he just said,"Yes, that will be GREAT!!" He is such a ham, and a joy to have in our lives!! Love that little booger!!!!

Take care and have a great week. I will probably update my blog after homecoming this weekend to let you know how my week went with my family and the great night that we are praying for and anticipating at our Homecoming!!!!

God Bless,
Andrea
