S-L-O-W!!!

WOW!!! What a weekend! We did 4 different churches in 3 days. We sang in Prudenville, MI. Friday and Saturday. We got home and in bed at 1:00 a.m. Sunday morning. Tyler was our alarm clock and got us up at 6:30 a.m. 5 hours later and then we started our day yesterday. We did a 9:30 a.m. service, packed up and went to a different church 8 miles a part at 11 a.m. We got set up just 5 minutes after church was supposed to start. they had a dinner after church so we ate with them.......YEAH!! I did not have to come up with something to do for lunch.......God is good. We had about 2 hours that we could actually come home. Then we left to go do our 3rd service for the day. We then headed over to Mark's mom and dad's and stayed there until 12:30 this morning( Monday) WOW!!! This is why we are all walking around really S-L-O-W!!!

We had really good services with each church. Last night we were in Brown city, MI. we have sung for this pastor several times, however this was a new church for us and the pastor. We had a good time with them. They were ready to have fun and we did!!!

Keep us in your prayers this week. Mark is going to try and get started this week on our new CD. He also will be working in the Lansing studio Thursday. I will be doing CD jobs and keeping the laundry going etc.!

We hope to see you all out there at one of our concerts/services real SOON! God bless you all, and thanks as always for your support and prayers. It means EVERYTHING to us!!

Take care and if there are any unexpected adventures with Tyler this week I will let you in on them with me!! Take care!!

In my shadow!

So Mondays are grocery, laundry catch-up, and clean out the van day at the Forester home. Tuesday however, in the summer are usually mow the yard day. So far this week everything has happened as usual.

I think think that I have shared this before, but a little tid-bit about me is that I LOVE to mow. As a matter of fact I did this in high-school to make extra money. So next time you see me on stage all dressed up, can you picture me with work clothes on , holding a weed-eater and grass all over my shoes?? HEE HEE! Tyler has a mower and every time that I mow he has to go outside and mow with me. He always stays out there with me until I am all the way done and stays right there with me for the WHOLE yard . I make him walk behind me because of flying objects.

Watching Tyler do this with me brought something to my mind. Did you ever hear the Cathedral Quartet sing a song with the words, " I'm in the shadow of somebody bigger"? This song is obviously talking about our Saviour Watching out for us. But that somebody is NOT just ANYBODY!! It is the SAVIOUR, GOD JEHOVAH, LORD OF LORDS!! What a blessing! I love HIM so much, " Thank you Lord."

Tyler was staying right in my shadow yesterday, following me all over the yard. He knew that if he got away from me, or in front of the mower that I would correct him and make him get back away from danger. He listened 5 out of the 6 times! Kind of like me might do God sometimes. Even in the 5Th time that we do not listen He is still there with us waiting to pick us up if we fall. Tyler looks up to me and his daddy so much as do your children. Matter of fact here is a good example. I just happen to catch him doing this. I stopped to take my sunglasses off and wipe something in my eye out. He had gone far away from me in the yard doing his " own" mowing in the yard. Saw what I was doing, stopped took off his sunglasses and wiped his eyes out too!! Nothing goes unnoticed with him!! Just like our Heavenly Father. NOTHING goes unnoticed with Him too!! I pray that my every move pleases my Lord. Thank you Lord for letting me be in your shadow!!

So today is another CD day. I have about 200 to do. Pray that we will get our work done today. We can actually go to our church tonight......YEAH!! Thank you for your prayers. Take care and thanks for your support.

We had great meetings this past weekend, thanks for your prayers. We are back at it again Friday- Sunday this weekend. Thanks for everything. God bless you all and go do something for our Lord today. I have some Postage Paid envelopes with tracts to mail off today!!!! I pray over them every time I do this!! You never know. I will only know in heaven!!

Talk to you soon. God Bless!

Full Nest!!

So we are all back together nestled in our nest ( house). It was so good to have Mark back with us again. I am now beginning to understand what my mom stand when she said that she was starting to have " empty nest syndrom!" Tyler and I missed Mark VERY much. Mark had to go run a few errands today and every time that Mark would leave Tyler thought that he was leaving for a long while and he did NOT like that!! I think that he missed his daddy even more than he is showing us!! Little stinker!!

We have been back to ourselves today. Mark was recording his brother while I was in the CD room duplicating Cd's and DVDs for tomorrow and Sunday. Then Mark needed me to do background vocals on Stephens CD so I then hopped up and did background vocals on 2 songs. We took a break and now Mark is back in the studio and I am back in the CD room. Only waiting on a few more Cd's to duplicate. Then we are going call it a day.

Pray for our meetings tomorrow and Sunday that lives will be touched and encouraged.

My prayer for my life is that others see Christ through me when I talk, walk and sing with all might for our Lord. I love to sing, but what I LOVE even more is when they tell me that they can see that I am having fun and that the love of Christ shines through me when I sing. WOW!!! What a compliment. That is what I want people to see and hear..........NOT just me and my abilities! Psalms 19:14 ( my life verse)

Have a great weekend and I am sure that we both will let you in on our weekend next week sometime. Thanks for your prayers and support!

God Bless,

Andrea

Appreciated

I love my husband DEARLY and miss him when we are apart/away from each other. I also appreciate him VERY much and all the hard work that he does to help and keep our family a float. But why is it that until someone is gone, seems to be when we miss them or appreciate them the most? My guess is that 1. It is quiet whereever that you are 2. We become a little lonely.

Isn't it something how much love we can learn to give someone and share with someone. But in comparison to what the Lord did for us, knowing that we were sinners, He loved us SO much HE gave HIS life for us!! And yet, if we know the Lord we are NEVER lonely!! AMAZING!! PTL!!

I am writing this today in the quietness of my home. Perhaps you might be thinking that this is why that this subject is on my mind. I just arrived home about an hour ago from taking Mark to the airport. He will begin his journey home today with the NEW vehicle. Tyler stayed the night at his PAPA and G'GS house. So that I did not have to get him up at 4:45 a.m. this morning when we left. It is now 9:00 a.m. and I will be going to get him soon. So when I mean that the the house is quiet I MEAN that the house is quiet!! I do not have any t.v. on the only noise is the clicking of the computer typing you this blog. WOW!!! Seems really weird.

Funny how when your kid/kids are gone you miss/appreciate all those little noises that they make as well. Mark and I, were home last night by ourselves and we found that we were making the noises to each other that he normally makes when he is home!! That just goes to show you how much you can miss and appreciate someone! He is so much fun. And I thank my Lord everyday that we have that little booger!! Even though he might yell 20 times a day, " Mom I need more juice!!"

I guess that I said all of this to remind Me and You to appreciate who the Lord has brought into your life while you have them. For we don't know what today or tomorrow may bring. I LOVE my husband and family dearly and I want them to ALWAYS be able to say the same about me. Got to give love to receive love! So today appreciate your family and those around you and ALL that the Lord has given you.

I will stop preaching for now!! HA HA!! Until next time God bless you all and keep Mark in your prayers as he is traveling today through Thursday to come home safely to Tyler and I. Also keep Tyler and I in your prayers as well. Thank you in advance!!

God Bless,

Andrea

IT IS FINISHED!!!!

SO we got it all done. All the work that we were hoping to accomplish this week, got done! Truly a miracle and a blessing. Some of the things that we accomplished were things that we had talked about doing when we moved in a year ago, but never have the time to get it done.

I am back to work on Cd's and getting the display things ready for the weekend and Mark is finishing up one more project with his friend in the garage. After this Jason is free to go and had been such a blessing to us with all of his hard work.

So I got to help on something that I had never done before. Mark's back got to hurting REALLY bad last night and we still had about 2 hours worth of work left to do on building the shed. So to work Jason and I went. It was actually not bad. I did mostly just gofer work and picking up things and he built.

Our house feels SO clean and put together like REAL peoples houses are!! I LOVE IT!!! Of course if you know me at all, I like clean, neat and organized!

Pray for us this weekend. We have 2 meetings and traveling in between. We are also going to try and fit in seeing Mark's dad for a little while for Father's Day!

Thank you for looking at my blog and I hope that you will visit me again real soon. I update it at least once a week, most weeks twice. I hope that you have a GREAT weekend, and to all of you fathers out there Happy Father's Day!!

Until next time God bless!!!!

Makeup and Goldfish?????

You are probably thinking what I thought too. WHAT??? Well, I never knew that one day I would be putting on my make-up and find goldfish crackers in my make-up kit!! I guess that someone was watching my the other day (TYLER) and must have dropped a goldfish in my make-up kit. Of course this made me laugh and love him all the more. I wouldn't take nothing for that little goldfish!!!

Last week our adventure to the mall was a HUGE success for Tyler. I was his BEST friend that day. He got to ride some of the mall rides, play in the play yard and go to the Disney store. I found him a $3.00 car and it was sufficient for him!

We had a great weekend of meetings and the Lord protected us all the way!! PTL. in spite of the HUGE storms that came through. So bad that we had to pull off into a rest area for a few minutes. Trees were down everywhere and power was out everywhere. But, when we arrived at the church to sing they were the only place around that had power. I guess that the Lord wanted us to sing.

Today is the day that we start our projects around our house with Mark's college buddy. IT HAS BEGUN!!! I am headed to the cleaners and to get some food to feed these guys this week so that THEY can work. I think that I will be on in it too so we will both be dragging by the weekend!!

Thank you for your prayers and support to us. We appreciate them all, you keep us going!! God bless and have a BLESSED week. Keep on serving HIM for HE is WORTHY!!

Started off SOUTHERN!!!

This morning was a PURE SOUTHERN morning!! I got up and fixed 1 lb of bacon for bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwiches and had Tyler saying. " YEE HAW"!! Now that is a good start to have a good day!!

Tyler and I are now downstairs doing CD'S. Mark just left for Lansing to record at the studio. Tyler and I are going to have a small adventure. Our mall close by has an indoor play area, quite large and it is perfect to do since that it is very over cast and supposed to rain in just a little while. The mall also has a Disney store and strollers that you can rent that are cars!! For just a dollar or so. So that is what we are up to today. He is SO much fun, I love being able to be a kid again with him!!

Mark had his brother in the studio this morning and they have already wrapped up for the day on that because of Mark's other plans.

Thank you for your prayers and support. We will be talking to you soon. Keep us in your prayers. With the gas going the way it is we are going to have to do something about a vehicle VERY SOON!! PLEASE pray that the Lord will help us out DRASTICALLY!!

God Bless,
Andrea

SUMMER IS HERE!!

We arrived home from down south today with a bang! I have done 2 loads of laundry, put all of our things away, written out the bills, and Mark is already in the studio with someone! So much for us saying that we have until Sunday off!!

I promised Tyler when we arrived home today that he could play in his NEW Elmo sprinkler. I bought it for 3 dollars about 2 years ago and he is just the right age now to play with it. He laughed, got soaked and loved every minute of it. Now he is in his room watching one of his favorite shows. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. I am doing some office things and keeping the laundry going from our 5 days being gone.YEE HAW!!

We had a great time with my family and good meetings with the churches in Ohio. We always enjoy being with the folks at both of the churches there. We have been going to the one since the first year that we were married. And the other church Mark had been going there for about 4 to 5 years before we were married. So we know them both real well. They are a blessing.

The reason for going to my parents was that my old home church and mom gave my dad a 25Th year celebration for his faithful service to the Ky. state capitol, Washington and fighting many church and home school battles. He has been so faithful, the Lord has been good and we wanted to honor him. He was totally shocked, surprised and it was so neat to see the appreciation on his face . There were about 5 to 6 pastors that showed up and many people that have been with our family from the beginning of my families ministry. What a joy that we were able to pull it off!! Mark put a DVD together with pictures and memories from the past honoring him and Mark and I did a skit acting and dresses up like my mom and dad would dress. This too was a GREAT success.

Thank you for your prayers and our ministry. I just heard my dryer stop which means it is time for me to switch out the laundry........AGAIN!! We will talk to you soon. We have things on the to do list that would be nice to get done while we have a few FREE days.!! Thanks again and may the Lord bless you all. Keep on serving HIM!!

In Christ,
Andrea
