ALMOST HOME.......BUT NOT FOR LONG!

We are n the downhill slide of our trip. We are now in GA. and then Wednesday we are heading to my parents house. There we will do our last date for the trip which is a week from Sunday. We are with Marks old piano player right now and his family. We enjoy their company. Plus they have 4 girls so I get my fill and then...........LEAVE!!! They are SO cute. I just got one of the 6 month old twins to sleep. For those of you wondering if it is rubbing off at all..........NO it is not I am just enjoying everybody Else's.

Thank you for your prayers as we have been on this trip. I had to go to the doctor today , but I am doing fine. A good hard shot to the hip, a two prescriptions later. We are home,( where you hang your hat) and doing fine!

I will try and let you in on trip after Kentucky . Tyler is loving his little playmates for the last two days. They have a 7 year old and a girl that is only 2 weeks older than Tyler. I am glad that he has been able to get out of the motor home and play for a few days.

We sing tomorrow and all day Sunday. Please pray that we will be an encouragement to those in need and a blessing to those that need a blessing.

Non- Flammable!!!

I was out yesterday and found some REALLY good deals for Tyler and birthdays for family. I got Tyler 2 pairs of pajamas for $5.oo at Sears. When I returned from shopping Tyler loves clothes and immediately he wanted to wear one of them. His new favorite thing to do is to tear off the tags. This is reaaly funny since this was always my thing growing up. Although I would keep them on the artical of clothing until I wore them and then took them off.

As I was ( he was tearing it off) I noticed that it said Non- Flammable! As most of you know my mind in quite unique and so My mind went to thinking. Is'nt it wonderful to know that as Christians and we know that Jesus as our Saviour. We are NON- FLAMMABLLE!!!! Because Christ paid the price for our sins at Calvary and once we except Him. We will NOT go to Hell. So that makes us NON-FLAMMABLE!!! It is the little things that I love the Lord uses to encourage me and get me to thinking. God is SO Good!!!

We are getting ready to go set up for tonight. First we have several things to do. Pick up Marks suites, get his hair cut, pick up medicines,do 250 cd's and then set up and sing all before 7:00 tonight. So I better get going. I am waiting for my time in the bathroom to get ready.

Thank you for your prayers for us. We have a late night tonight. We will not be able to get out of town before 10:00 p.m. and then we have to drive 1 and a half hours before getting there. Then get settled.

We will talk to you soon. Hopefully. Honestly I do not know when we will be around internet again for a while because of our travels. But keep checking back. You never know!

I got pinched!!!

I had been planning all weekend to make sure and where something that was green on Monday because of St. Patricks day and guess what? I forgot. Mark and I had talked about it and said remember that if you don't wear green I will pinch you!!

So in my weakest moment while we were going down the road. I got up to go to the back of the motor home to get something and just then.......He got me!!! OOOHHH!! I said o.k. now you know that before the day is out I " WILL get you when you least expect it!" I waited about 7 hours and when he was in his weakest moment, resting on the bed, responding to e-mails " I GOT HIM", HEE HEE!!! This is how we have fun passing the time together on the road. Interesting isn't it?

Today I have been doing Cd's and Mark is at the local studio that he helps out at down here. Tyler is sleeping, but it is 8:00 p.m. and if I do not get him up soon I will be up until 3 a.m.!

The Lord was good in letting Mark get through the day Sunday. He is a real trooper. PLEASE still pray for him that he will get better. With his asthma. It is extremely exhausting to him. He cannot breath well all the time anyway and you add a cold to that and it is tough. Thank you for your prayers. Tyler is better. So please pray that I stay well. I have had a scratchy throat today. But feel just fine. I am sure that I will be fine. Just say an extra prayer.

We will talk to you soon. We sing tomorrow and some of the same things again. Cd's, laundry and set up to sing. That is our crazy, but WONDERFUL life . God is good!

Let me explain!

For those of you that have not heard Mark tell the story about me stuffing gospel tracts in beer cartons at walmart and everywhere else that I can. The blog from the other day might have had you wondering about " my beer cartons!" This is what I meant. I love to hide the tracts anywhere I can and give them to as many people as I can.

CONFESSION

For all of you that are still in the cold weather at home this is for you. I have a BIG confession to make to you. I was having FUN IN THE SUN today. Mark took me to do laundry and then took me out to eat. When we returned to where we were parking. I put Tyler and Mark to bed. Mark has a head cold and Tyler too!

So I thought to myself what a GREAT opportunity for me to enjoy my time in the sun.......ALONE!!!

So I did just that with my sunglasses in hand, newspaper, magazine, Diet Coke and my lawn chair. I headed out the motor home door and had my self a time for about an hour and a half!! YEE HAW!! I just now came in. They are still sleeping so I am trying to be REAL quiet. SSSHHH!

We have had good meetings the last few days. We head to Fort Myers this weekend and then back to New Port Richey. Mark just put a whopping $200.00 in the tank today just to fill it!! This is why that we COVET your prayers for the ministry and it's needs.

Thank you for your support. I still continue to stuff my beer cartons with tracks and wherever else I can find. This is my other hobby that I have in our ministry.

I will talk to you real soon until next time keep us in your prayers and continue to do great things for our Lord the world needs to know that there IS hope.

I'M Back!

Sorry for taking so long. I have tried several times to update you on the latest happenings with me/us and I could not get the Internet to cooperate with me. But here I am now!!

We are having good meetings still here in Florida. Thanks to all of you that have made an effort to find us and come and see us here in Florida. It means a great deal to us that we mean a great deal to you!!

Pray for Tyler. He has come down with a hooping cough. No fever just cough, running nose and not up to par. Pray that we will NOT get what he has and that we can finish our trip healthy.

We are getting ready to head out to sing in a little while. We sing tonight and tomorrow night. We are on the road to Fort Meyers Florida Saturday and Sunday. Then we only have 1 more week in Florida. Then we head to Georgia and then KEN-TUCK!!

Thank you for your prayers for us as we finish this trip. We will only be home 11 days and then we head out again!!!

Talk to you real soon. Not too much going on here with us and Tyler besides the normal. Maybe we will have some interesting stories soon!!

We Finally did it!!

After 6 years of coming to Florida we finally made it back to the beach. We have only been once in all of out travels. I think that most people think that we get to go all the time since we are down here. But the truth is we are so busy that we do not have the time. Except that this time we made it work.

There was a beach just 30 minutes from our meetings on Sunday. And to help matters with gas it was on our way back to where we were headed. Tyler was some what fun!! He loved the playing in the sand part, but NOT the water part. Something is wrong with this picture since the whole purpose was the " BEACH" which really means WATER!

He was afraid when a wave would come. Because he thought that he was going to be knocked down. Understandable I guess. He did o.k. towards the end. He got into the water up to his waste. Which in all honesty this is all we did as well. The water was FREEZING!!!

We stayed about 3 hours and had a good time. Time that all day we did NOTHING!! That is my kind of day. On the other hand today has been Laundry, Cd's, bill paying and Thank you notes. Back to mu old self. Mark has gone to mail some product off and run some errands.
