All is calm, all is................not right!!!

So I have had company all week, a birthday party and sang five times this week. Not to mention the other norms in there. Dishes, laundry Tyler's needs. You know all those things.

My parents just left about 6:00 a.m. and I am still up!! Plus I did not get to bed until 12:30 a.m. I started getting an ear ache about Friday but kept thinking that it would go away. I am hurting so bad today that on our day to try and rest I can't rest. I am going to have to try and go to the doctor today!! My goal was to sleep as late as possible today and then to NOTHING after that. As always plans have changed a little for me. We are still going to rest today. And because I slept horrible last night anyway I will need the rest this afternoon. Pray for my ear I would appreciate it. I have had ear trouble all of my life but this one is much different and is VERY painful! Thank you in advance for your prayers.

I cannot believe that HOMECOMING is almost here. This is by far out favorite event. The Booth Brothers are such great men. And from the first time that we ever worked with them they treated us as special as they do now!!! They truly love the Lord and definitely know how to have fun in the Lord. We hope that all of you get some buses together and come . We sold SEVERAL more tickets yesterday at our concert and it WILL sell out. Y"all come!!! That is what we say down south!!!

Another prayer request for you to add is that we can finish our album on time. We still have great songs to record. But with great songs, you must spend a great amount of time, to make them GREAT!!! So Pray. We need to stay in good voice for a while. Really all the time. So pray!!

Never to late........To learn!!!

WOW!!! This house process has allowed me to learn and do more than I ever thought that I could do!! I hung insulation with Mark. I painted walls and ceilings ( already knew how to, just extra!) I hung foam for one of Mark's booth. Plus I topped off the whole house project by putting in 8 door knobs downstairs. I guess that I am good for something.HA!!

My mom and dad are here and we are having a good time. That is when I can actually see them. Mark and I had a singing date this morning so my parents kept Tyler today. We sing again tomorrow and on Saturday as well. My dad has a preaching engagement while he is here on Sunday. So I think that they are going to stay at home with Tyler and let him play. Also they can rest up for their meeting on Sunday.

Mark and my dad are down stairs doing some wiring in the T.V. area. They have been down there for a while. I think they might be watching a ball game without us!!!

We hope to see you all out there at a concert somewhere. Come say Hi to us and let me know if you read my blog!!! Wen it is updated that is! HA HA!!

Nearing the END!!!

We have finished the basement and we are moving in all of the furniture and everything in place. Actually we do still have to put in the shower, sink and toilet in the bathroom. My parents are coming up to visit for a while and dad is bringing his tools. So we hope to put him to work in the basement!!

Sorry that I have been so lax on my blog, but life has been crazier than ever. We have been winding down for the evening at about 2 to 3 a.m. every night for several solid weeks. Tyler has been way off on his sleep. He has been right there with us. He has been napping at 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. and up with us until at least midnight or 1 a.m.!!!! Life with busy parents can be rough on a 2 year old.

Speaking of which. Our little boy is growing up!! He will be two on Thursday. I cannot believe how much he has turned into a little boy so quick lately!!

We are going to try and get some pictures posted of the house now that it is done within the next few weeks. So for all of you that we left hanging, wondering if we ever got further than studs in our house. You will now be able to see our home. We are so excited to be in it. It is so nice to have a new house!! GOD IS SO GOOD!!!!

Rest..........Now the work begins AGAIN!!!

We have been at music school in Murry Ky. all week. We have 2 more dates to sing at here in Ky. Sunday. Then we will head home Monday morning. Poor Mark has worked so hard teaching this week and has had a FULL schedule.He is very tired and could use your extra prayers for him. Tyler and I hung out together. We went to Walmart everyday but one!! And the days that we did not go we went to other stores and of course did laundry. That seems to follow us everywhere that we go!!!

The pastors wife that was painting our basement while we were gone called today, and the job is done. I have painted houses all of my life. But , to be able and go home to a finished, freshly painted basement is such a BLESSING!!!!

We have plenty of other things to do when we get home. I have to do 350 Cd's for some people. And then we have to have some as well. So between doing this and painting the new bathroom downstairs and picking out flooring for it. We will be busy with many other things. Mark has a studio job in Lansing Tuesday after we get home. So he will be off and running from home as soon as he gets home!!!

I am sitting listening to music right now at the school as we speak and my brother-in-law is signing. He is coming along so well. Of course I am parcel to him!!

Thank you for your prayers as always as we travel. We need them. Remember..........Mark is the main driver.........HAHAHAH!!! I love him for that though!!!! PLEASE don't get me wrong!!

On The Road Again!!!

And we are so glad to be!!! It is sad that we have to leave our new home to get rested up!! We have been doing so much work to get the basement done for the studio and office that we were looking forward to getting in the car and driving for 12 hours just so that we could sit down!!! We stopped for tonight and we will head out at 7:00 in the morning to do the rest of the trip. At least the part of the trip for now. We are driving 7 more hours tomorrow and 5 more on Saturday!! YEAH!!! More rest.

The Lord has blessed so much to give us the help that we have had to get the work done on the basement. If any of you that have done anything to help us are reading this. For my sake of telling you one more time THANK YOU!!! This is not enough nor will it ever be. But your help and support to getting the ministry going again at home is more of a blessing that you will ever know. God has a special crown for you in heaven!! Your time and dedication to us in irreplaceable!!

Keep us in your prayers as we are traveling and singing on this trip. Pray for Mark that he will have the strength to do all of the teaching and personal classes for the music school that we are headed to.

Thank you for your interest in our ministry that the Lord has so graciously given to us. We LOVE serving Him. For HE is WORTHY!!!
