Good Morning Everyone!!
It is a little chilly here in Flint this morning, however this is the day that the Lord has made!!
Mark has left for the day to help someone with a recording over in Battle Creek, Tyler is still asleep and I am getting ready to have me a cup of my morning coffee with Fat Free French vanilla creamer mmmmm!!! My favorite! Read my Bible and then the work begins.
I need to get all of our clothes ready for the weekend pressed and packed and then our van needs a SERIOUS makeover on the inside. HMMM, sounds like me from time to time , only I need it on the outside as well! HA! I know it's to early for me to start already.
Keep us in your prayers. We have a VERY busy weekend. We sing 4 times in three days!! IT will be great though I know it. We hope that all that attend will truly be blessed by God.

What a day!!!
Yesterday we rented a dumpster and cleaned out all the old belongings in the gargage of the 2 previous owners. What a mess. Since we have lived here we have not had the time to do this. So we just made it a priority this week to do and it got done. I never knew that we could feel so clean. It made me realize just as in our Christian walk with the Lord, that when we clean out all the bad, how good you really can feel!!
I also raked 12 bags of leaves and cut down to bushes in our front flower bed. They were old and have never grown right since we moved here.
So needless to say I did NOT want to get out of bed!! Oh, but Tyler DID!! At 7:15 this morning. But to his defense he did go back to bed for an hour and so did I!!
Pray for us the rest of this week. We sing in Sturgis MI. Tomorrow. It is on the Indiana border so it will be a long day. Friday I have a dentist appointment and some other things to do. Saturday I am speaking at our churches ladies mother daughter banquet. PLEASE pray for me about this one. I am NOT a speaker, but our pastor's wife ask me to share so I am going to do my best. Also we sing Sunday morning here in Flint.

Hello!......again!
I guess I did not make myself clear about the mower situation in my last blog. I guess thought that you knew what I was really maening to say in my head. If you saw Mark and I's yard you would say, " you use a riding mower for that"? I meant to say that I used a riding mower for my yard that I mowed at my house in Kentucky where I used to live. That is where the acre and a half was. WHEEWW!! Now If I had just explained it right the first time I would not have had to do this. It is so tough getting so old. Or is it just from having a child??? You that have them you decide for me!!
We are looking forward to our date in Lansing tonight. We sing with the Thurstons and Monty Bishop. Pray for us that we will do our best for the Lord. We also have a BIG day Sunday trying to make it on time from church to church for these dates. I am sure that all will go well. God knows.

Hello!!!
It's that season. Raking, sweeping, mowing. All that fun stuff. I know you are saying FUN!! I think so.
Here is a little secret about me. I LOVE to mow. Matter of fact I used to do this for extra money in High School during the summer. I mowed 4 yards. Three of them were widowed ladies that were faithful in church. Don't get me wrong. I did NOT get rich doing this , but it was good exercise, I made some money and helped them in return!
So, I said all this to say I mowed our yard for the first time yesterday of the season. And it took all of about....... 30 minutes! HA HA!! That was including pulling some weeds!!! I used to mow my yard when I lived at home. It was an acre and a half. Many of times I would do ours, and these ladies all in one day. I was ready for bed on these nights!
Now I did cheat on ours. I used the riding mower on about half of it, but pushed the other for the look and the exercise.
I love being outdoors enjoying God's beautiful creation that He has made for us. He is so wonderful. We can NEVER repay Him. But, I know I sure try to make Him as happy with me as possible!
I hope you have a wonderful day. We have another full day here. Mark is in the studio again today with someone.
